Multi-Core Customised Crane Flat Cable — Power & Control Combined Flat Cable

Multi-core customised crane flat cables are purpose-engineered combined power and control flat cables for bridge cranes, gantry cranes, overhead travelling cranes, and port equipment where a single flat cable replaces multiple separate power and control cables. The flat construction ensures smooth festoon hanger travel without tangling, twist, or snagging while the combined power/control configuration eliminates the clutter and maintenance overhead of multiple separate cables.

Constructed with fine-wire copper power cores and twisted shielded control pairs or quads in a common flat neoprene or PVC outer sheath. Custom core counts (typically 4 power + 8 to 24 control cores), cross-sections (1.5 mm² to 25 mm² power; 0.5 mm² to 1.5 mm² control), and total cable widths are available to match any crane specification.

Shielded vs Unshielded Control Cores

In crane environments with variable-speed drives, shielded twisted pairs are essential to prevent VFD interference corrupting encoder and sensor signals. Specify individual pair shielding for all analogue and encoder signal cores.
