0.6/1kv foil shielded Medium voltage festoon cable

0.6/1 kV Foil Shielded Medium Voltage Festoon Cable — Screened Flexible Power Cable

This 0.6/1 kV foil-shielded festoon cable combines the robust flexibility of a rubber or PVC festoon power cable with an overall aluminium-polyester foil shield — providing electromagnetic shielding and electrostatic protection for applications where festoon power cables run parallel to sensitive control and signal cables. The foil shield prevents radiated interference from the power cable affecting adjacent low-voltage instrumentation and fieldbus wiring.

Constructed with fine-wire stranded copper power conductors, PVC or rubber insulation, a drain wire under the foil shield, and a robust flexible outer sheath. Rated 0.6/1 kV; 3 to 5 cores; 1.5 mm² to 35 mm²; temperature range ‑30°C to +80°C.

  • Stage machinery power cables near DMX and audio signal cables
  • Industrial robot cell power distribution near motion control signal cables

Selection Guide

When Foil Shielding is Required

Foil-shielded power cables are needed when unshielded power cable radiated emissions cause interference in adjacent fieldbus (Profibus, DeviceNet, EtherCAT) or analogue signal cables. This is common in festoon systems where all cable types share the same festoon hanger in a compact tray arrangement.
