PVC-insulated PVC-sheathed crane cables are the standard low-cost power and control cable for overhead travelling cranes, jib cranes, and gantry cranes operating in normal indoor factory environments where temperature extremes, oil immersion, and UV exposure are not a concern. These cables meet the repetitive flexing demands of crane festoon systems and cable drag chains at an economical price point compared to rubber or PUR alternatives.
Constructed with Class 5 or Class 6 fine-wire copper conductors, flexible PVC insulation, and a tough flexible PVC outer sheath. Rated 450/750V or 0.6/1 kV; 2 to 24 cores; 0.5 mm² to 35 mm²; temperature ‑15°C to +70°C. Suitable for indoor crane festoon systems with ambient temperature 0°C to +50°C.

PVC crane cables are the preferred choice for standard indoor applications with ambient temperatures between 0°C and +50°C where no oil, UV, or chemical exposure is present. For outdoor cranes, cold-environment installations (below 0°C), oil-contaminated environments, or high-cycle applications demanding maximum flex life, upgrade to rubber or PUR crane cables for extended service life.
