Shield tunnelling machines (TBMs) impose the most extreme mechanical demands on power cables — continuous reeling, high tensile loads, exposure to water, hydraulic oils, concrete slurry, and mechanical abrasion from rotating equipment. This PUR braid-reinforced reeling cable is engineered specifically to survive TBM and shield machine environments.

The open braid reinforcement layer over the inner sheath provides compressive and tensile protection, while the outer PUR compound resists abrasion, oil, and chemical attack. Very finely stranded Class FS conductors ensure reliable electrical performance through continuous reel-and-extend operation.
