Combined Profinet, Profibus, and CAN-Bus reeling cables with integrated power cores. OEM drum reeling cable for crane automation. 0.6/1 kV, anti-torsion, flexible Class FS. Custom configurations.
Modern crane automation systems require simultaneous power delivery and high-speed data communication — traditionally achieved with two separate cables on the drum. This OEM combination reeling cable integrates Profinet, Profibus, or CAN-Bus data pairs within the same drum-rated jacket as the main power cores, eliminating the second cable and simplifying reel design.
Each design is engineered with individually screened data pairs to prevent EMI from the power conductors corrupting bus signals, while the anti-torsion construction ensures reliable data link performance across the full reel travel.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Power Rated Voltage | 0.6/1 kV |
| Bus Protocols Supported | Profibus DP, Profinet, CAN-Bus, ASI, Industrial Ethernet |
| Data Pair Shielding | Individual tinned Cu braid ≥80% |
| Max Conductor Temp | 90 °C (power cores) |
| Torsional Stress | ±50°/m |
| Travel Speed | Up to 240 m/min (rubber sheath) |
| Flex Operation Temp | −35 °C to +80 °C |
| Transfer Impedance | Optimised to 30 MHz |
Eliminating the second data cable simplifies reel drum design, reduces drum width, and lowers installation cost — while removing a common point of failure in dual-cable reel systems.
Individual tinned copper braid shields on each data pair provide the isolation needed to run Profinet or Profibus alongside high-current motor feeds without signal degradation.
Shielding performance is optimised to 30 MHz — covering the full Profinet frequency range and ensuring reliable 100 Mbit/s Industrial Ethernet transmission.
Power cross-section, bus protocol, core count, and sheath material are all configurable — any combination can be manufactured to your crane builder specification.
