REELTEC PUR-HF halogen-free drum reeling cable. 0.6/1 kV, PUR sheath, IEC 60332-1 flame, water resistant, −40 °C flex operation. Crane, hoist, and port equipment. Custom sizes available.
The REELTEC PUR-HF is a high-performance halogen-free drum reeling cable designed as an alternative to rubber-sheathed crane cables in environments where fire safety or water resistance is a primary concern. PUR (polyurethane) sheathing provides excellent abrasion resistance, full oil resistance, and permanent water suitability — while the halogen-free compound eliminates toxic gas generation in case of fire.
Plain copper Class 5 conductors with central textile carrier and short-lay construction ensure reliable flex life on cylindrical and mono-spiral drum reel systems at travel speeds up to 180 m/min.

PUR compound typically delivers 3× the abrasion resistance of PCP rubber — significantly extending cable service life on drum reel guide rollers and wear points.
Full resistance to hydraulic oil, gear oil, and many industrial cleaning chemicals — important in crane maintenance environments.
No toxic halogen gas emission in fire — protects workers, equipment, and facility fabric. Required by an increasing number of industrial facility fire codes.
Maintains full flexibility to −40 °C — outperforming standard rubber types that stiffen below −25 °C.
