Screened Round Festoon Cable — (N)GRDGCGOEU

The (N)GRDGCGOEU screened round festoon cable adds an overall tinned copper braid screen to the standard (N)GRDGOEU festoon design — providing EMI protection for festoon runs that carry both power and control or data cables in environments with strong inverter switching interference. The overall braid is applied over the inner sheath, beneath the PCP outer sheath, creating a continuous Faraday shield around all conductors.

This design is particularly recommended for crane festoon systems driving variable speed drives (VFDs), where high-frequency switching transients can couple into unscreened control cables running in the same festoon carrier.
