LIFT-2TY elevator and lift pendant cable with steel wire carrier. Flat or round design, 300/500V, flexible, control and power cores. Passenger lifts, goods lifts, and industrial hoist pendant applications.
Elevator and lift traveling cables are a specialised class of flexible cable designed for the continuous vertical motion of lift cars — a uniquely demanding combination of flexing, tensile loading, and the need for the cable to hang freely without kinking or permanently deforming. The LIFT-2TY type elevator traveling cable incorporates integrated steel wire load-carrying elements to support the cable weight over the full shaft height without transferring tensile stress to the electrical conductors.
Available in flat or round constructions for different shaft configurations, with power and control cores combined in a single cable to minimise the number of traveling cables per installation.

A 50 m shaft means 50 m of cable weight hanging from the car connection point — steel wire carriers prevent this from elongating copper conductors and stressing insulation at the connection terminals.
The balanced, symmetrical construction of LIFT-2TY cables prevents the natural tendency of flexible cables to twist and coil under their own weight — a failure mode that causes premature insulation damage in non-elevator-grade cables.
Passenger lifts are safety-critical equipment. LIFT-2TY construction meets the requirements of EN 81-20 for traveling cables — providing the traceability and standards compliance required for lift safety inspections.
