Fibre Optic + Power Combination Reeling Cable

Crane automation, camera systems, encoder feedback, and high-speed control data increasingly require fibre-optic transmission quality that copper data pairs cannot reliably provide in the EMI environment of a crane drive. Integrating fibre-optic cores directly into the drum reeling cable — alongside LV or MV power conductors — eliminates the need for a separate FO reel and provides the highest data integrity over long crane travel distances.

Our FO + power combination reeling cables integrate OM1 (G62.5/125), OM2 (G50/125), or OS1 (E9/125 singlemode) fibre-optic cores within CORDAFLEX-type LV or PROTOLON/TENAX-type MV reeling cable constructions — all with anti-torsion braid and full drum reel mechanical ratings.

  • FO cores protected in tight-buffer or loose-tube design within cable core
  • LV variant: 0.6/1 kV power, PROTOLON EPR insulation, PCP rubber sheath
  • MV variant: 3.6/6–12/20 kV, EPR super-clean, semiconductor field control
  • Anti-torsion polyester braid — ±50°/m
  • Very finely stranded Class FS copper power conductors
  • Bus cable pairs also integrable (Profibus, Profinet) alongside FO
  • Travel speed: LV up to 240 m/min; MV up to 180 m/min
