The LP (Low Profile) series underwater connector provides a slim, low-height connector body that reduces the protrusion depth from the mounting panel or from the mated cable run — critical in space-constrained ROV frames, compact AUV hulls, and subsea instrument housings where component height is restricted. The low-profile geometry also reduces the hydrodynamic snagging risk during ROV operations near nets, structure, and seabed obstructions compared to standard-height connector bodies. 4-pin female (F) bulkhead (bh) variant.
All LP series connectors use the same proven EPDM O-ring face seal system and anodised aluminium alloy body as the standard-height connector range — providing IP68 rating to 3,000 m depth (300 bar). Gold-plated copper alloy contacts throughout. The LP series is available in 2, 4, 5, 7, and 9-pin contact counts across three body configurations: in-line (LPIL), bulkhead (LPBH), and dummy plug (LPDC).

Use the LP Low Profile series where panel-to-panel clearance is <40 mm, where connector protrusion creates a snagging risk in operational environments, or where overall system weight must be minimised. The LP series uses the same electrical contact and sealing system as standard-height connectors — electrical performance is identical; only the body height profile differs. Male (M) and female (F) LP connectors mate only with their LP series counterparts — LP series is not cross-compatible with standard-height connector bodies.
