A03VV-F PVC insulated and sheathed flexible cable. 300V, Round, 2–5 core, 0.5–1.0 mm². A03 designation (non-harmonized equivalent) for markets using national standards
A03 designation (non-harmonized equivalent) for markets using national standards equivalent to H03VV-F. Same construction and application range. The harmonized designation A03VV-F guarantees that the cable meets the CENELEC HD 21 standard — a common technical specification for flexible PVC cables used across Europe and IEC-standard markets, ensuring interchangeability between compliant products from different manufacturers.
The round profile, 2–5 core construction, and 0.5–1.0 mm² cross-section range cover the most common applications in the 300V voltage class. Fine-stranded Class 5 copper conductors provide the flexibility needed for portable and semi-portable cable applications.

H03 (300V) is suitable for light loads in dry domestic environments. H05 (300/500V) is required for equipment connected to the 230/400V supply — the higher voltage class provides the dielectric clearance required at mains voltage. Always use H05 for mains-connected equipment unless H03 is explicitly permitted by the equipment standard.
2-core cable (live + neutral) is suitable only for Class II double-insulated equipment. Equipment with exposed metal parts requires 3-core cable (live + neutral + earth) to provide the protective earth connection required by safety standards.
