PUR Servo Cable — 4×1.5 mm² Power + (2×1.5 mm²) Screened Brake Pair

This servo cable variant is optimised for servo motors equipped with a 24V DC magnetic holding brake — the most common safety brake configuration in vertical axis and gravity-loaded servo applications. The 2×1.5 mm² brake pair uses a larger cross-section than standard 0.5 mm² brake conductors, handling the inrush current of larger brake coils (typically 1–3A continuous, 6–8A inrush) without excessive voltage drop, which is critical for reliable brake release.

Both the brake pair and the overall cable are screened — the individual pair foil screen prevents brake switching transients (24V DC switched at high frequency by the drive brake controller) from radiating into adjacent encoder cables, and the overall braid provides system-level EMC protection.
