This 1500V DC rated two core (twin core) solar cable is available in 4 mm² and 6 mm² conductor cross-sections — providing a single-cable solution for routing both the positive and negative DC string conductors together from the panel array to the inverter or combiner box. The twin core construction reduces the physical cable count by half, simplifying installation in cable management systems and reducing the number of edge clips, cable ties, and cable tray sections required.
Both conductors are individually insulated with XLPO compound (rated 1500V DC and 90°C continuous) and enclosed in a flat or round XLPO common outer sheath. The flat twin-core profile sits naturally in solar panel frame cable channels without rolling or twisting. Tinned copper Class 5 conductors throughout; UV, ozone, and weather resistant; TUV approved basis construction.
